    It would have been so fucking easy to throw the uncommitted movement a bone; the fact that they didn’t is alarming. The very idea of letting even a single Palestinian speak at the convention is anathema to Democrats. With that single move they alienated a million+ primary voters because they would rather lose than let Palestinians speak.

      Idk, i can’t really see the nsdap letting a Jewish German speak at a party meeting, either. They know they’ve lost everyone who opposes mass murder, they’re probably worried that they’d lose even more if the speaker went off script and started naming dead family members and the lockheed stockholders in the room who did the killing.

      You can’t give people the idea that the democrats faction of the state party can be pressured into doing good things, however small. That might encourage more public meddling in politics.
