Could you set Lemmy to open external links in a new window/tab? Especially on the desktop it is annoying to always have to remember to click the link with the middle mouse button, or just in conjunction with ctrl.

It can get tiring to do it with every post.
It’s fine if you keep in the same tab by default, but would you consider adding an option?
I’m just used to quickly left click then new tab, it’s the first option, there’s no miss and it’s hella cool
Never by default, as it breaks accessibility. I’d accept a pr for adding it as a setting tho. Also tho how is middle clicking more tiring?
