When I have to start reading a book I want to know if it’s good or garbage, so I like to read some reviews. I don’t trust Goodreads, are there some alternatives?
When I have to start reading a book I want to know if it’s good or garbage, so I like to read some reviews. I don’t trust Goodreads, are there some alternatives?
I still use Goodreads, but I also use bookwyrm.social. Anyway I tend to not trust the reviews too much and get an idea of the book from its blurb or from the first pages.
