The official site is best to get started. Personally i find it the most easy to run a container and configure a secondary Firefox profile: https://geti2p.net/en/

Just search protonmail honeypot and you get many results. I am not saying it is true. Just saying because a company gets accused of something doesn’t make it true.
Well proton has been accused of being a honeypot as well.
It is a necessary evil. Better make it as good as possible. Hosting your own mail server is not feasible in most cases
Wouldn’t this be solved with the birdge? I am thinking of going the paid plan anyway due to the custom domains.
The push notifications would be a issue for me. I am using GrapheneOS without any google services.
Also the calendar i am not 100% sure how I want to do it. I currently use Nextcloud and Caldav. Which for me works great when syncing with Etar on my phone and Evolution mail in the desktop. For my dad I have setup caldavsynchronizer for outlook as that is the email client he has used for years. When i would use Tuta id loose the nextcloud calendar because it can in no way synchronize with Tuta. With proton on the other hand I can use the bride for email and use the calendar how i am currently using it together with Etar on the phone.
On the other hand if say Tuta providers a calendar that is integrated and works with both the email client on the desktop and on the phone. the same goal is accomplished.
For me the vpn and storage is not something I am interested in. Bundles in general though. The 10 custom domains is a nice thing for sure.
Regarding email which provider would be best suited if this goes true? Because Tuta is hosted in Germany it seems less optimal then say Proton?
Anymore yeah they used to allow it. A even better option for uploading is seeding to I2P. the bigger we can get i2P the better.
Also because the google pixel its bootloader can be relocked without much trouble. that is a big part of why GOS only supports pixel phones.
PXE boot? It must be enable in the bios already. Then you could prep a image and deploy it that way.
Like letting keys expire and ddos the aur to name some.
Odysee ! I use a extention even so if I click a video on YouTube and it is also on odysee it opened odysee instead.
For automated backups defiantly. For a one time use I often use just rsync. It is the simplest to quickly use.
Yeah. You can change the font somewhere in the Firefox settings
Nah water is wet 😇
Only google pixels ere supported because it are one of the only phones where you can re lock the bootloader
Free and much better look up I2P
It was never so much about the hate for GOS as it was for Daniel. Daniel is a absolute genius but has some mental and paranoid issues. Which hurt GOS reputation in the proces, Dont get me wrong I do not hate the guy or GOS at all but I do agree Daniel has some serious issues.
If you like to tinker you can accomplish the same and a load more with Home Assistant. I do not have a garage door but do have loads of automation that use multiple platforms together bundled in home assistant. The limit is really your own imagination with it.
Just to name a idea out of my head. I am not sure if the Meross MSG100 can be linked to home assistant but their is a high change it will. With the home assistant app on any phone for that matter. you can use anything as a trigger say distance, connection to wifi or even a wake word. then in home assistant make the automation to trigger the door to open.
