  • Not on my watch! /j

I’d like that you consider these two points in the roadmap please:

    • Icon support, I like the icon, but it doesn’t always fit with certain themes I use, specially dark mode based themes, so basically I’d be asking for a dark summit icon in this case, but other kinds of icons are most than welcome for sure.

    • The app does a good job remembering the position when you are in a thread and the app gets closed (usual android app ram management) but it is certainly inferior when you are in the main feed (or whatever feed you would be the last time I guess), it kinda refreshes the main feed and when you are back you are never truly where you were the last time. As usual, I am not sure if I am being exactly clear, so just think it this way, you own a subpar device like a Xiaomi phone (yeah I am projecting myself lol) which is fairly known to have a not so good ram management, you are using Summit in the main feed and scroll a bit, then open another app and surprise, MIUI/HyperOS killed Summit in the background, when you are back the position where you were the last time is gone, that is where I see room for improvement.

I am not sure if you are back from your break, I’ll patiently wait for these suggestions though :)

  • You know all the certs and security and port stuff you need to do? Plex does that. You just download the app, point it at your folders with media, and you’re all set both at your home and beyond it.

I am just gonna read your comment until here, Plex does shit if you are CGNATED, and as it is 2025 I suppose most users are, I still needed to expose through IPv6 with a reverse proxy, using a VPS or a VPN to access my Plex Server, so yeah, Plex hasn’t helped me at all since many years ago with the noob friendly approach they have.

EDIT: Oh and their relay feature is garbage, even for Plex Pass users, and I happen to be a lifetime one.

  • Oh, so it does get more than 40 FPS while emulating it on the Deck, that is good to hear, I do get higher FPS (closer to 60 FPS) in my original Switch 1 overclocked in BOTW (I heard it is not very different with TOTK), and I don’t get to do the quirks and workarounds that comes with emulation (I do it with the hack itself lol) because well, the game runs natively.

The battery backup you get is definitely better than mine undocked though (although when I do this I play docked), so it is good to hear Switch 1 games aren’t that demanding then.
