I think many jump to conclusions too fast when they say Ennies Lobby hole was formed the same like the Lulucia hole. Why is there still rocky bridge of the Judicial island remaining above spanning the hole?

I agree … Robin revealed in chapter 1053 that the Alabasta Poneglyph mentions Pluton. and she found it before chapter 200 right? So a 850 chapter difference until it is revealed what is written on the Poneglyphs… Crocodile knew it contained information about an ancient weapon … but had to rely on Robin for translation, so he failed
stupid question: isnt building for arm just changing a compiler target flag? Or does one need to compile on an arm device?
Idk if that is a stupid idea, but can one host a community that does not allow posting of images and links?
Base idea behind that would be: Text conversations are easier to search and assess quality and topic of.
Here on Lemmy I see many accounts that post links most of the times, no text conversations or in depth conversations. That is why many Lemmy "subs / instances " seems like an oppionated link aggregator atm.
recently I was thinking about noise pollution … and what density would be the best. If many people use electric tools (saws, gardening, lawn mower …) noise pollution gets worse. So for single family house it can get to dense (if everyone owns a private peace of garden / workshop)
Artificial waterways are underrated for freight transportation: huge container ships are very efficient compared to trains/planes or trucks.
Semi-trailers in the USA have a weight limit of 40 tons. Typical US inland water barges carry 1500 tons.
Idk how waterways work when congested. Can ships change their speeds quikly?
Love that thumbnail the old “conservative” Diesel train is way more efficient then the modern highway infrastructure.
ok … now buy the next oversized SUV to drive your child to school, like every other parent.
ironic that the Milwaukee Railroad was electrified between 1914 and 1920 over 1000 km https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milwaukee_Road … and then it ended 1974… seems they did not like the efficiency and 1 Million $ savings each year and got bankrupted by neglecting maintenance in favor of short term profit, before going bankrupt. Then abandoned the rail line in favor of a “green” hiking trail and diesel Locks/Trucks on parallel lines/highways.
Can the driver even see if a child walks in front of the Engine hood? Would they even feel if it runs over a smoll pedestrian while the driver is using his smartphone?
Road deaths are rising again:
Walking is the most basic form of transportation, but there is a pedestrian safety crisis due to drivers speeding, being impaired or distracted, or engaging in other dangerous behaviors
seems like we are f*****
Imagine every marketplace and port was connected to warehouses via rail tracks … imagine the efficiency … oh no that was 100 years ago, nowadays road with potholes only.
I would also imagine a computer algorithm could manage all the signaling and switches … the dream of driver-less trains is way more feasible than driverless trucks (Big Tech and Car Lobby are lobbying hard for this), since a train can only go forwards or backwards on a given track.
What about Chinese demographics that are often brought up by US-centric-Planners? China is the fastest aging country on the planet?
this name … internet explorer seems cursed now by microsoft tho
Nuclear powered electric construction machines?
