You only need one home instance. So you’re on lemmy.world from what I can tell. If you go to their homepage and login, then click communities at the top, you can browse all the communities (subreddits). Just subscribe to whatever you want! Then later when you’re browsing you can sort by subscribed and it’ll be just those topics

I’m liking that Icy-Veins website. I’m pretty sure they keep a close eye on some builds. I was following a build guide yesterday and it was tweaked differently today. So whatever is going on there it seems care is being taken. Also no horrible YouTube videos to deal with.

Might make it easier for normal people to find. First thing I did was search the App Store for Lemmy. There was nothing there of course. It wasn’t until a couple days later I came across wefwef and am super happy with it.

It has to scale up, so they add users slowly. I don’t know how to get an invite really. Occasionally someone I follow will give away an invite but I haven’t been lucky yet.
