Hobbychemie: Die letzten Jahre wurden wir von ziemlich weitreichenden Verboten überzogen (Schwefelsäure und andere wichtige Grundstoffe wurden EU-weit verboten, in Deutschland wird der Besitz so hart bestraft wie der Besitz von Sprengstoff).
Jetzt gab es dank großer Resonanz aus der Community auf eine öffentliche Konsultation der EU-Kommission (vermutlich) erstmals einen kleinen Erfolg zusätzliche weitreichende Verbote abzuwenden :)

@HaSch @blueberry Honestly I don’t know how I would’ve been able to do my thesis without sci-hub. Sure there’s the interlibrary loan system, but easily 95% of the papers I read turned out to be non-pertinent to what I was working on. Waiting days or weeks to even figure out whether I was searching for the right things would have seriously fucked up my planning and time management.

Edit: Just an example of how such a script might look (haven’t tested it, but I do something similar in linux). You can let the task scheduler run it every few minutes: https://pastebin.com/rY0FPpgk
