oof, really that bad? haven’t seen it myself yet.
I hope that NI copies the part of the PA installer where it doesn’t need to open a terminal and be suspicious after an update. I find that so strange. Even considered mailing them about it.
Haha, yes, i agree, that part is scary.
i’m not too sure, but I think you should to be able to access both from your instance. You can always check the instances page!
EDIT: i was wrong - yeah, you can’t view or comment on beehaw.org content
I’m not sure. I think it’s the other way around - beehaw.org users don’t see stuff from those other two instances.

Might not be a bad way to discover new communities as well.
I have a deep seated hatred for The Killers - Human. It was on heavy radio rotation while I worked at a gas station, a job which I despised, so I suppose, I psyop’d myself into associating that song with that time of my life.
Yeah, if I understoof correctly, they are quite strict in their administration policies, so that probably just doesn’t work with the vibe of the rest of the fediverse that well and they might become more and more isolationist over time, so, yeah, i agree with your web forum point!

I haven’t listened to Monstercat stuff in forever. What type of music do they do now?
Someone should make a Baltic community as well. I can’t seem to find one.
I mean, if you don’t mind a spammy timeline then it would work just fine. I guess you can try to set up some lists and stuff to manage it.
Yeah, of course, nothing stops them to change a 0
to 1
in their production database, they don’t have to respect the actions of the moderators, unfortunately.
Yeah, this. My mastodon timeline became quite unreadable, just a flood of lemmy links, if you follow a more active community.
On a community page you have a link to the original instance (!community@instan.ce
), and on there, in the sidebar, you can see the subcount. i’m not too sure, but I think, that should be the correct total … or maybe that also shows the count from that instance. Started second-guessing myself while typing this, lol.
Im not on PC right now, but I remember there is a setting in the profile for that
