Do you know how to do this on Memmy?
I didn’t even know what a yarmulke was prior to now.
It’s a trivet.
I’m not sure that’s quite the message but 🌟 for you anyway
I’m not sure if this helps, but if I’m looking for a specific community I go to the search tan on the bottom, start typing what I want to find and tap on ‘community’ and it shows relevant ones.
Hmm 🤔 My profile button shows me my profile with stats, and comment/post tabs.
Edit: I’m on Lemmy.world
Not the person you’re replying to, but I didn’t find it awful on mobile. The zoom by dragging worked well, as did the double tap to view the whole dataset.
For a quick browse I wasn’t frustrated at all and found the information I wanted to in a short amount of time!
Also here from day 1 Apollo, and have abandoned Reddit as well.
I like wefwef, but I found I had a lot of issues with it where things weren’t loading or processing as well as they do on other apps, so I have about 5 different ones that I’ve been rotating between - and my favorite has been Memmy so far.
I do see many benefits to wefwef, I think it’s super clean and I see the appeal, plus it’s definitely something I’ll keep checking back in on - but I’m happy to experiment with all of them right now.
Yaaaas now this gets me
I was gonna say lemmons but 🤷🏼♀️
I really enjoyed tumblr in a way I don’t really understand now. I think I enjoyed creating something to share of my own out of bits and pieces of everyone else. Idk.
So sorry to hear about your buddy. We were so lucky to have them in our lives while we did.
In the short time since my last comment I’ve learned it’s a right-left swipe on the comment box in the Memmy app. But thank you either way!!
I hope it helps :)
I would have never known about it unless I’d seen a post advertising something as a “Reddit replacement” but better.
Also the advertisement for the various apps available in testing for Lemmy.
Sorry to make this into a new comment. I’m apparently Lemmy dumb and can’t figure out how to reply in a thread yet.
The link you shared is the correct one I was referring to, but some of the issues have referred to what I was commenting about previously, and they’ve shared a forked version which implements a change to only edit in 5-second intervals which goes around new reddit rules.
Tumblr also kind of got ruined a few years ago too for some people if you were into that platform.
Late to respond, but I was in perfectly well just now!! Great job on getting it sorted :)
