DFM tweaks are going about as expected with the injection molder, tool maker, and myself for one of my designs.

Good news: PICKED UP MY NEW BIKE YESTERDAY!

Annoying news: The bike came with 44cm wide handle bars. I’m running 40cm wide and have contemplated going to 38cm wide on my current bike.

I love how comically oversized that ladle is for the pot, and honestly the entire kitchen. It reminds me of the 3 foot potato smasher I accidentally ordered several years ago.

This was my shakedown ride for the 100 miler planned for next weekend. :p

I am happy that I managed to keep nearly a 16mph average riding solo today. Also, just 8 more miles on this bike before I feel like I have definitely gotten my money’s worth out of it.

I got home from a 100km bike ride about an hour ago. I’m going to go mow the lawn and get the patio staged so a fiber optic line can be run under it.

I thought it sounded like an investment firm. Or an ambulance chasing law office.

Could Biden just fucken pardon everyone of their student debt? I think the Supreme Court ruling says he can.

Huh, my glaucoma looks more like macular degeneration. I have a fairly sizeable blind spot smack in the center of my left eye because of it.

If there was a good way to get states/counties/cities to communicate, I thought going to exponential taxation rates on properties would be useful.

First property has an exponent of 1. Second 2. Third 3. Etc.

Although, I’m not sure what that would do to something like my family’s farm. It’s somewhere around 200 acres, but not contiguous. There’s like 50 acres here, 40 acres there, 2 acres over there. It’s also one of the smaller farms in the area.

I think we are on the same side of the argument, I’m just going down a rabbit hole of “how do you even begin to predict where Putin just flips the damn table?”

Also, Russia is a nuclear power. There is likely a line where Putin will respond with nuclear bombardment. The trick is, where is that line?

A decade ago I barely saw any. Two decades ago, there would be nights where you could see by the amount of light the absolute insane number of them would put out. Now, I’m seeing a decent amount, nothing like 20 years ago, but way better than it used to be.

Not so much bees, but I have noticed an uptick in fireflies the past few years which I have enjoyed.

Honestly, with the dumbshit cycling/pedestrian infrastructure in the US, the zebra crossing to nowhere is a thing that I have actually seen before.
