instead hunt for FLAC format. it’s lossless.
Any recommendations on where to do this?
Com feels like company or .com which also stands for company. Doesn’t feel right at all.
God I love the smaller communities, they’re so much better. Especially when you recognize the people.
As a lifelong adblock user, I recognize your pain.
Nice, that’s good to hear. I’ve only played Skyrim via proton once before I switched to local streaming, so I’m definitely not educated on how it works.
I still haven’t migrated completely over, but I’ve been hanging out over here to see how things go. Depending on the results I might stick around, I imagine most others are the same.
Yeah, the big subs feel like all the content that gets through is devoid of emotion because that’s what the mods decided to allow that day. God forbid you decide to post something you thought was cool, but something similar was posted 2 years ago so now you’re banned from posting.
fun /s
I’ve played MO2 Skyrim through a Steam Link before, and for that to work you have to add MO2 with the launch options from the shortcuts you can make from MO2, this way Steam registers MO2 as a game.
I’d imagine you would need to do the same for proton to work, though that assumes it even runs.
I’m curious, is SKSE even supported through proton? Not sure why it wouldn’t but still curious.
I’ve never understood the concept of having days for certain things, people will talk when they talk and if they have to wait they just won’t. If we could get a good flair-like system it might work to be able to filter through what you want to see. Might need more Lemmy support for that though.
I just don’t want this to be an over-moderated hell hole like some subs; “Your post was the right post but its not the right flavor!”
Just saying hello, been a ride figuring out how to sub across instances but I’m here now!
I think it was a more tongue in cheek reference to the incompetence of the companies and how they will use that data in practice, but I might have read too much into it. Regardless, intentionally clicking the wrong items on captchas shouldn’t cause a crash unless the companies force it to by cutting corners.
FOSS software enables the user of a software to effectively maintain ownership of their own device which is 100% a political thing.
That’s an entirely different domain of politics in my mind, my point was there’s no reason to focus on what divides you from the creator when 9 times out of 10 the software itself is unrelated and contributed to by thousands that all have differing opinions on the same topic.
No need to try and find issues where there aren’t any.
I think that’d be best, basically an entire porn federation completely isolated, we can name it horny jail!
Most things I’ve seen were 18+, if only to skirt by the laws. I haven’t seen much though so I may be completely off, but that would seem a little illegal otherwise.
software is always made for a purpose and the purpose can be indeed (and is) very often linked to political or social cause
Its not though, typically software exists to serve a basic function at its core, and it could be used or contributed to by anyone for any number of things.
Reactions are common in lots of forums though, gold is just a special reaction.
A special upvote if you will, its not really that deep.
