Ooh I had totally forgotten about the pillow thing. Yeah that bedframe is pretty cool

When it comes to card art definitely Dixit. When I Dream also has really nice illustrations (and is pretty fun too).
Maybe you could post in !books@lemmy.ml too? There are many subscribers but not much traffic.
I can bring my hands from the back of my body to the front (and the opposite) while holding them together. There might be a use for this if I ever get tied up.
At periods when playing a lot of geoguessr I often catch myself looking at license plates and street signs when walking on the street, as if trying to figure out where I am.
Also years after I stopped playing assassin’s creed, I still get a mental image of a red outline when I walk too close to a cop.
Probably not very popular, I miss the culture of r/morbidquestions that was the place to go for most weird topics without much judgment.
Yeah don’t worry, this is pretty bs. The only one that’s kinda accurate is number 4 but with outstretched fingers, not stuck together. And even that is slowly being fazed out in favor of the middle finger.
This is the bill for anyone curious. https://legiscan.com/AZ/text/HB2394/2024
Interesting, based on similar threads I was under the impression most banks didn’t support NFC payments without Google Pay. Sadly no banks here have their own NFC payments. My bank used to have it but then removed it for some reason.
Yeah it’s a bank, and most banks do not support NFC payments in their apps, you need Google Pay or Apple Pay. Revolut is not listed in the available payment apps.
The closest thing I’ve found regarding this is this community request which still hasn’t been resolved https://community.revolut.com/t/support-nfc-functionality-directly-in-the-revolut-app-for-android-without-google-pay/191216
Do you have any sources for attaching a revolut card to the phone’s NFC? Is that a service they provide in their app or do you mean copying the card chip manually?
If you want more there’s also this site with pretty much every lacing technique that exists https://www.fieggen.com/shoelace
The original image said windows where this would be accurate but I doubt it applies to the average linux user
Yeah that’s what I usually do
DuckDuckGo as a default with Google as fallback depending on what I’m looking for. For lemmy the default search of my instance works well enough so haven’t tried external engines.
This is good news but I love that our current standard is at “not nearly as disastrous side-effects”
But if you do see a normal keyboard and can type each letter isn’t that the same as what autocorrect is doing now? If I type “spmrthjng” my keyboard already autocorrects to “something”. If you only see the keyboard after it’s guessed wrong then that would just be autocorrect with more steps.
But what happens when it’s inevitably wrong? How do you type the word you actually meant to type?
Also worth mentioning you can copy more files on it afterwards and it works as normal storage too.
I feel this is mostly the case with short stories (and a lot of those works were short stories). Where there isn’t enough material for a full movie, the writers are free to add more to the story without messing much with the original. DADOES did have enough material but the movie decided to go a different direction while keeping the main theme. I wouldn’t say one is better than the other in this case as they’re pretty different.
