I always force quit it after I’m done. I wonder if that prevents this. Probably not.

TikTok is like that but it’s loading videos continuously so it makes more sense that it would use a lot. I never noticed significant battery drain with Apollo.
I’m liking it a lot. Using WefWef so I get a similar experience to Apollo.
Would it have faults? If you had the “perfect” companion would you accept that or would it need to have faults because real people do? What I mean is, if you have the ideal in every way companion, really smart, great chef, beautiful, whatever, then subconsciously how do you compare? You’re going to quickly realize you aren’t good enough and then you have a problem.
These are the things I think about when a question like this comes up. The personality side of things. I love my fiancé but part of that is she drives me crazy sometimes. I see her as an equal as we both have faults and so on.
Reddit? What’s Reddit? lol I didn’t think I’d find anything to replace that place after being a member for 12 years but I’m quickly finding the communities I subbed to over there and also finding the conversations on here to be better. Ten years from now we’ll look back on this time and remember when Lemmy was small and wonderful. Hopefully it still will be.
It may or it may not but I’d sure like to try cause I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure it would solve my current problems and future problems too.
I just got a message that the beta is full when I tried to download it.
I get issues with things not loading at times but I think that’s just the state of things right now and not specific to WedWef.
I think it should be able to revolutionize diagnostic medicine. The issue today is what the doctor can remember and think of. For example, live in Florida or Texas and doctors know the symptoms that could be an infection caused by amoebas which is easily treatable. Go on vacation, swim in a lake that has amoebas and get infected, then go home to your northern state and you might die. All because the doctor doesn’t know what to look for.
Just one example. Think Dr. House on steroids… rather than Vicodin.
Enter symptoms and follow the prompts. Perform tests as requested by computer. Results fed into computer. And so on. All of the hospitals connected and anonymized data shared in real-time. Catch outbreaks sooner. Quicker diagnoses, less mistakes, and a much higher success rate with non-common ailments. The entirety of our medical knowledge in the computer as a starting point and the AI learns from there.
