Valve just give the same old copied and pasted response, didn’t even reply to half of my message it was so obvious. Really uncharacteristic for Valve to be this awful but they seem to be trying to piss off as many people as they possibly can in one go
Well I guess we go again tomorrow Parcelforce…. Got a little excited this morning when I was told it was out for delivery thought I might finally be done with this shit show but guess not
Considering there’s 17 minutes left before they call it quits I guess not… this whole process has been such a ball ache even just ordering was a pain with the checkout constantly crashing what a shit show from start to finish
Yep 22 minutes past and still nothing here, been delayed at every single step, doubt I’ll ever purchase anything direct from Valve again this has been atrocious
Well hopefully I’ll still get it today, Parcelforce said it was out for delivery this morning due between 12:43 and 16:43, still nothing and now my tracking has vanished and been replaced with a phone number to call for more information, tried that had an awful automated system, after multiple attempts finally got to speak to the most disinterested support agent ever who was utterly useless and just told me “If it doesn’t show today just call again tomorrow” what a terrible experience, last time I order straight from Valve I must admit
So I got this from Valve after finally hearing back: “Please note that this estimated delivery window of 3-5 business days is from when the device was shipped, not from the day of purchase.”
I feel they could definitely make this more apparent on the store page and it would solve a lot of issues and calm a lot of people as when it says “Expected Delivery 3-5 Business Days” to me at least that really makes it sound like that’s from purchase, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever come across something that has wording like that and means from shipping as opposed to from purchase
In case this somehow gets seen wondering if anyone else can help just received mine but can’t get past the setup, just says Update Error An error was encountered during the update process.
I’ve spent a while searching trying everything from resetting it, double checking the date in the BIOS, trying my phone as a hotspot and nothing works, anyone have any idea how I can get past this so I can actually use the thing?
