I swear to fucking god, I live this meme
It’s the one main genre I just don’t get. There are a few bands I like, but that’s usually because they bridge a gap between metal and hard rock.
I think it’s the vocals that usually put me off.
Yeah I feel exactly the same way, as well as I find metal to just be super overbearing. Somewhat monotonous in a high-energy way, though I definitely cant say this as a generalization of the genre because i have probably been exposed to only a VERY small subset of it
For me it’s mostly when i listen to Igorrr. They are a great head turner, even for some head bangers.
I refuse to believe there is anyone who doesn’t love Igorrr.
That doesn’t even compare to the times I have turned on mahavishnu orchestra around other people 🤣
