I won’t be hard to Christians as a religious group rather it was done for direct economic and political purpose. Islam also annihilated Iran which had Zoroastrianism as their state religion which was much more open , non centralized and open to innovation . Large nos. of ancient Persians fled to India , China . Early caliphates also tried to Arabize the North Africans. I am from Bangladesh btw
There is no “culture genocide” term in UN because culture is always evolving and changing , do the west have the same culture of 1950s in 2023 obviously not. You can use the term colonization but effective colonization was also done by British empire not in the name of Christianity but by East India Company trading and using monarchs to kill other monarchs of the same region.
This is like what the Christians did with 3rd world nations. They came in promising food, but all they gave was attempted cultural genocide.

I think there’s still some zoroastrians in India, but it declined greatly.
Mostly are in Western India, in ancient persia they were converted to Islam after the arabian conquest.
