I don’t know what his short term political aspirations are but he’s 23 and the minimum age to be a US representative is 25.

Gen Zers are running for office and this new PAC wants to back them : NPR

[Hogg] is launching Leaders We Deserve, a hybrid political action committee backing candidates under 35 years old running for federal office and under 30 years old running for state office.

Ninja edit: He’s already talking and acting like a typical pol. He wasted my time with a deceptive tweet. It made me think his his PAC went live yesterday but it was created in August. I deleted the tweet and I put in the NPR link.

In the near future I can imagine this…

“Look, when I was young - I mean younger I was very unrealistically idealistic and very idealistically unrealistic as I like to say. Now that I’m Representative Hogg I’m ready to get down to the hard business of getting things done for the American people. To that end - we, that is to say the bipartisan YoungCaucus - all one word for easy googling - have created a committee to study how we in the House can create a more efficient and cheaper orphan crushing machine.”

“Of course - I’m kidding. I’m a kidder. It will be less efficient and cost will increase by a minimum of four fold. Hey, I’ve got pork to spread around in my district where I’m based in Podunk, Colorado. I want to stress that I certainly didn’t choose lovely Podunk because it was easiest to win an election and I lied about my residency and I said I live in condo owned by my brother-in-law. I’ve actually been there four times. Or was it three? Anyway - close enough…”
