      I don’t think that that is related really. They are effectively just rich people who pass on generational wealth.

      It’s probably more to do with more than a decade of conservative government.

      I don’t think that anyone would argue that the US isn’t financially classist.

        Entire English speaking world class systems are modeled on it. The hate of the poor is very specific to English speaking countries also. Continental Europe generally viewed poverty as unfortunate consequence of “progress”. English speaking world it is a moral failing of the slave along with with his removed mother and drunk father.

        These sentiments never changed and are currently being reflected with “conservative” policies across the globe. Their MO is extraction of value from the poors labour, always has been.
