    If I do nothing:

    1. the problem will go away on its own

    2. someone else will deal with the problem

    3. the problem will get so bad that I will feel the terror of catastrophic failure if I don’t deal with it, at which point my fight or flight instincts will kick in and I will have the motivation to actually deal with it.

ill admit these comics make me feel like I have adhd. I actually do a lot but the amount of mental effort I have to put into each thing is massive and I have to put myself on super rails. I basically don’t do anything like vacations or planned leasure because prepping for it is just more work and im pretty much constantly tyring to catch up with what I need to do dealing with (usually) the most important things first. I spend ridiculous amounts of time just making sure I pay bills and such.

Yeah honestly I have a somewhat challenging situation in life so that could be it and honestly how I do things has advantages that I like (passive thought and investigation of things that later bear some fruit in decision making). I view it as im just someone who likes boring safety, security, and consistency over excitement and highs/lows. So im pretty much constantly working to avoid bad times so im constantly working on something and view myself as behind. I have a bill to pay so im behind because its not paid. If I did not do that then im pretty sure I would always be late. ugh. I just paid my property taxes late. 40-50 dollars wasted. Too many distractions.
