    I’ve heard that whole “you’ll be a conservative when you’re older” argument. Always from a conservative. Never seem to hear it from all the older liberal people I know. Hmmmm

      It kind of makes sense. Conservatism takes hold due to fear. That’s why Fox spend so much time stoking fear. I’m sure weaker minded people are bound to fear the changing world more and more as they age, leading to more conservative views.

        It’s also found that the more you have, like money and a house etc the more conservative you become. Most millennials do not own a house etc. I’m about to own my first house next week. Let’s see how it changes me haha. I assume I’m too old to have my views changed that much now though. Eat the rich!

          I’ve been a homeowner/business owner for a few years now and my opinions haven’t changed so hopefully that’s good news for you!

    I think that the people who became conservative as they got older were never really actually left wing in the first place. They might have been centrists at best, and they just reached a point when they mostly stopped paying attention and started only really caring about their direct family and friends financial welfare.
