He died back in October and they kept it under wraps for 2 months. This was disheartening news.
It does suck, but I think it’s okay for the relatives of celebrities to hide the news about their deaths until they want people to know about it. If they want to experience their loss without the rest of us chiming in, that’s understandable to me.
