This film made some controversial noise not long ago about the nose prosthetic Cooper is wearing as a younger Burnstein. I didn’t watch any teasers or anything then, so this was my first glimpse of the film. Generally, the directing and acting from Cooper has definitely got me interested to see (as someone generally not too keen on biopics). Also, generally the commitment to getting Burnstein’s likeness seems to have really paid off, however excessive “the nose” is for the younger Burnstein. My impression watching the trailer was that they didn’t want me to see Cooper in the role. While playing older Burnstein, that’s easier, but while playing the character roughly at Cooper’s age, less so.
