Today, the esenciales* campaign, made up of hundreds of civil society organisations, delivered to the Spanish Congress of Deputies the 612,000 signatures validating the Popular Legislative Initiative for an Extraordinary Regularisation of some 500,000 migrants currently in an irregular situation in Spain.
If approved, this campaign will improve access to health and education for thousands of people, bringing their rights in line with those of the general population.
