minus-squareblackn1ght@feddit.uklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5arrow-down2·1 year agoI think Israel sent a tone of leaflets and I’d guess word of such a thing would spread quickly.

minus-squareAlexlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·1 year agoI saw video of leaflets being dropped on the BBC news last night.
minus-squareguriinii@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2arrow-down1·1 year agoI have no idea, but they got the information. I know that all the hospitals have generators so perhaps the civilians do also. Journalists and people are managing to record and document what is happening inside Gaza, so they would have received the information online.
minus-squareSulaymanF@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4arrow-down1·1 year agoYou’re guessing. Gaza has greater than 50% unemployment, and those that can afford generators can’t get gas because all supplies are cut. Journalists bring batteries when they come into Gaza, not the same as what residents can do.
minus-squareguriinii@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 year agoSome of the richer families have their own generators. So they let people charge their phones and power banks for two hours a day. Most of the information about what is happening inside Gaza is coming from citizens inside. They share what they can but meta shadow block them
