Okay so i have a question for ppl who play mhr. How do I get around save corruption in rise? PC port is well known to be janky but others at least were able to play it semi reliably. I bought this game recently and everything was fine until i turned it off and tried to open it up again. Game couldn’t read the save file anymore. I reinstalled it and disabled cloud but the same thing happened once i quit and went back again.
Dont know the answer but I would try check if local files are installed correctly, search for any anomalies in steam cloud and look up in the game forums (this one the best as either the developers or the community gets a solution).
I’m curious, how does one search for anomalies in the Steam Cloud?
I’ve already run file verification and disabled steam cloud for the game so it wouldnt interfere. Game forums have a lot of different information about this issue but most of it caters to the players who already had decent amount of playtime and were able to reliably exit and launch the game without losing data. I cant go in for more than one session before save corruption.
How far did you play through?
Hopefully not too far…Oh not far, i only lost 6-7 hours. As i said save file corrupts as soon as i exit the game. It still sucks, but its better than losing 300 hours like some other players had.
never happened to me. but i have only played it for about 100 hours.
