Despite what you may be immediately inclined to think, this map is not uninformative. It offers a distinction between the countries and territories that bow down to the US-led imperial narrative and those who don’t. While the red countries aren’t all necessarily socialist, they evidently pose a threat to capitalist interest are are therefore worth studying. These are countries that are most likely friendly with China or are seen as more likely to be influenced by China in the coming years, and for those of us here, I think we can agree that that is trend in the right direction.
