Google pulls the plug on effort to integrate the Swift language and TensorFlow machine learning library, while citing multiple achievements.

This happened more than a month ago, but I just recently became aware of it

    What! It’s my first time hearing about it being shut down. I heard so many good things about it and how much was planned for the future, sad to see it go. Especially since Chris Lattner seemed excited about it

      yeah, it was sad for me as well, I loved using S4TF and Swift in general, and right when it was getting traction with me I learned about the project being shut down

      although I should probably have seen that coming after Chris Lattner left google (which was before S4TF shut down)

      now my hope that Swift will ever leave apple’s sandbox is even less :/
