The book I’m reading rn is about the Phillppine-American war. Absolutely tragic and disgusting what the US did.
Yeah that war was absolutely brutal. Mark Twain suggested that the flag for the US-occupied Philippines should be “just our usual flag, with the white stripes painted black and the stars replaced by the skull and cross-bones.”
