You have all inspired me and kept me going through this very rough time in my life. Genuinely, all of you. I’m talking to YOU, DAMNIT!

I am trying my hardest to recruit new comrades to the 'grad and simultaneously to build up my courage to make the leap towards organization.

Actually doing it will be my qualitative change in life; developing the understanding of dialectical materialism and furthering my dedication to this cause. I want to make a difference with you people and others I adore and love the sense of connection with other human beings at large. I can’t tell sometimes if I am insane or missing the point but all I know is this feels right, and that is what matters. We are fighting the good fight.

    Honestly, one of the most inspiring things to me is the Soviet Union. The szarted out as a revolution against monarchy and social democracy, got invaded but managed to throw them out, industrialised at lightning speeds knowing the invaders would be back. Got invaded again by the most vicious of enemies that killed 27 million of your people, but they stay strong and end up winning. Then they go on to achieve scientific and technological successes way faster than the capitalist nations, all the while providing their people with all the basic necessities. I mean think about it, there were just 44 years between the revolution and Gagarin’s space flight. How awesome is that? And they say communism doesn’t work…

    Another thing is China’s poverty alleviation. 800 million raised out of poverty, provided with the tools to build their lives how they see fit. Doesn’t get much more based than improving hundreds of millions of lives

      Agree.

      It feels great to do shit for the party and see the people starting to support us. We keep getting new active members and more people are telling us they will join our actions. It’s also great to see the party grow and to see some of our proposals actually getting accepted in law.

      And it’s great to be a part of it. I consider myself too stupid to become a higher up in the party but I will do everything I can to get shit started.

      To see what many comrades have done before us, with mostly far less resources, is inspiring and makes me believe we can do it as well.

        I can’t say much, as I am just moral support, but you should not consider yourself too stupid. Based on the things you have contributed to this site, you are incredibly intelligent.

        Seriously. There isn’t a “line” to cross, or a number to meet to determine intelligence. WE are all great. All of us. We all have things that we are great at, we also have things that we struggle with.

        The fact that you have such thoughts and continue is beyond inspiring. You are one of the good ones, DankZedong. I promise.

            lmao do you actually think you’re stupid? I am a smart dude, no false modesty here and I highly respect your opinion and input. (I only say lmao because it’s shocking to me, not becaues it’s silly… just wanted to give you an outside perspective)

            Definitely would not think of you as anything less than smart. I think if you feel you couldn’t be a leader it’s likely because Western marxist academics are pricks.

              Nah not stupid of course. I’ve recently started for my third degree so I understand that I can think about stuff lol.

              But people occasionally ask me if I have any ambition to get higher up in the party and I don’t think that’s where my strengths are. But then again, maybe it is?

                I mean you are clearly capable, the question is do you want it? I think you exhibit a lot of the positive interpersonal traits/disposition I would love to see in leaders.

      Wonderful comment. The Soviets and Chinese are some of the most inspiring things that are keeping me going right now. The fact that it REALLY happened/is happening in the real world is liberating, even if I am not directly part of it.

      Another similar thought is that there were only 66 years between the human race getting off the ground (the airplane) and hitting the fucking atmosphere and moon. Seriously. What?! Our society has changed in such dramatic ways over time and continues to prove Marxism and communism right.

      It definitely does not get more based than changing hundreds of millions of lives.
