What gets me is how every person he helped arrest, he gave none of them the benefit of “innocent until proven guilty” that’s only for his buddy Danny. He didn’t send any letters of support for any of those rapists after they were convicted. He only cares about victims, so long as they’re not the victims of his friends.
My favourite part in the letter was when he was praising Danny for his anti drug stance, while Danny’s on trial for drugging and raping women…

It definitely is a different story when your (presumably) really good friend with industry connections is a piece of shit compared to just doing the right thing without risking anything, even getting praise for it. He’s just a human with maybe less than average integrity who did good when it suited him. Who can really say why they wrote the letter.
To be fair, associating with a sex abuse organisation that’s also anti-child was probably deleterious to his reputation to begin with…
Exactly how I read the title the first time

Dude, wtf is wrong with you? He wasn’t in the movies because he and his wife both decided to work to help to prevent child abuse and rapes. I know nothing about you, but gosh, you sound super toxic.
I am not informed about what he did exactly to help children and if he actually did help them I commend him for it in the highest form.
But as a European I have mainly seen him lobby for dystopian online control systems.
It is hard for me to judge if he is a cynic that uses children for his lobbying (as is usual by people that want to destroy freedoms online and offline) or an idealist that went the very wrong way at some point, but at least his political efforts in Europe are not a good thing at all.
And that he is speaking up for a violent rapist does not make me want to give him the benefit of the doubt.
I don’t know much about him either and i don’t want to start a debate trying to make him look good. Yet, the message i answered to was giving me creepy toxic vibes so much i was worried is the guy who said it okay or not
Yeah it’s all good. I didn’t mean to attack you.
Just wanted to give my 2c.
you mock him for trying to “fade into obscurity”, then tell him to grow a spin and “shut up”. lol, you’re a psychopath, man.

I think their point is that the latest Ashton Kutcher press release is just another example of completely empty “PR Speak”. I mean, Ashton’s talking about spending “several days listening”. But do you really need several days of talking and listening to realize that defending an abuser for basically no reason at all was a messed up thing to do? And why should anyone have to waste days of their time dealing with Ashton so he can have his “revelation”. And didn’t this scandal break like six months ago? That’s a long time to be spending several days thinking and listening.

Who was doing that?
Do you even know what the Masterson case was about?

To the best of my knowledge, there were no children involved in the Masterson case. Unless you know something we don’t?
