Is this some sort of European joke that I’m too American to understand?
Milo is actually Australian funnily enough. It’s like a powdered chocolate thing similar to nesquik, but I don’t think it actually contains any chocolate.
Ah gotcha. Drinking chocolate is also an unfamiliar term to me, though I’m fairly certain I can guess what it means in American English: hot chocolate
Seems like it’s a particular brand of powdered hot chocolate from Cadbury
I’ve never heard of drinking chocolate either, and I’m only now realising that it’s a noun instead of a verb in the meme. I only happen to know about Milo because I’ve got family living in Australia.
It’s malt flavoured.
I Wikipedia’ed it cuz malt by its self can’t taste like chocolate.
Standard Milo consists of four main ingredients: malted barley, milk powder, sugar and cocoa.[
Hmm, interesting, I grew up on it back in Jamaica… never considered where it came from lol
You are lying yes, but I don’t know how to change your mind. You get bonus points for the cute template tho
99% sugar is not the same as 100% chocolate.
tell me youve never had milo without telling me
As an Australian, I’m not angry, just very, very disappointed.
Milo is a right of passage in childhood, particularly if you have siblings. In fact I’m sure making one is on the citizenship test. If you don’t understand why, then you’re doing it wrong.
Thank you
is Milo the raccoon?
Milo is a chocolate milk mix, similar to Nesquik if you’re from the US, both made by Nestle. Drinking Chocolate is also a mix, but made by Cadbury, and (IMO) much better than Milo.
Milo is malted like Ovaltine. That would account for the taste difference. I personally like Milo a lot. I’ve never tried this “drinking chocolate”.
Yeah, and you can eat Milo raw or put it on icecream, I wouldn’t think to do that with most other hot chocolate powders. Tho I also gather from context that Drinking Chocolate is different?
Are we Bandit trending now!
When I first read this, I assumed that Milo was the name of the dog because my brain could not comprehend how anyone could come up with such insane logic
Spanish hot chocolate is where it’s at. The spoon will stand up in it.
You meant to say the churro will stand up in it.
Si, es verdad
None of you have apparently had “drinking chocolate” before because it is usually a very thick liquid you can only really sip a thimbleful at a time because it is so rich. It can’t be made with a mix.
