I never thought about it before as it just sounds like a natural word. But now that I think about it, “gameboy” is kind of a strange name.

I think the gaming demographic heavily screws towards males. Which is why there are so few “girl” oriented things.
Yes, I have played this. It is Super Princess Peach. The game mechanics are based around emotions from what I remember.
