    most countries have done more already, haven’t they?

    Considering that the US has twice the carbon footprint per capita as many other countries, this is very much needed…

      i guess that would depend on what you mean by “more already”; if you mean it in the most literal sense of “doing anything” then yes since the US has institutions which make it severely difficult to act at all on the issue, but a lot of countries have made equally little progress on achieving their climate commitments.

      A handful have. However, there are a lot more countries that have been waiting to see what the US would do first.
