Adding “Lemmy users complaining about Lemmy content” would have been a good one to the pile
But then people would know I’m no better!! I edited it for you :)
I hate the fact that this represent me so well. I am a gender fluid leftist that hates cars, loves to argue politics and have many opinions about the Ukraine war (putin bad). Also a compsci student and gamer.
Never seen csam tho wtf.
I haven’t run across it personally either, but I’ve seen posts regarding possibly defederating an instance that has a bunch of “questionable loli content” (paraphrasing and toned the accusation down in this comment becuase i didnt verify authenticity; i prefer to not expose myself to the possibility even).
Wait where’s all the furries? I’ve been looking for them
my block list is getting too long to look through, but i find it extremely hard to believe you are having trouble finding furries. Maybe look for the term “yiff”.
It depends on your home instance and what communities other users have caused it to know about. I mostly browse “all, 6 hours” with hardly anything blocked, and I don’t get furry stuff.
pawb.social
I mean, why don’t YOU post interesting stuff then? Hmm? Hmmmmm? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
I’m trying, come post a pic at !imageedits@lemmy.zip for me to edit and ill make it interesting. It is a new community I’m trying to get going, if thats not interesting, idk. I see you have exactly 0 posts so maybe you should not be bringing that up
So true though👌
You forgot about all the Far Side comics with the wrong date in the title.
personal vehicle = bad
I resorted to block that community, they’re the vegans of the car world.
The problem with c/fuckcars is that a lot of people there aren’t people wanting public transit and pedestrian/bike infrastructure, but normies that simple mindedly complain about cars. I’m willing to bet that ~20% of them are there because they hate the cars that get them stuck in traffic, but don’t care about driving their own car everywhere.
And moderates like me can’t get a toe hold there.
I want de-car’ed urban areas, spoke and hub suburban areas, and strong protections for cyclists and pedestrians everywhere (via systemic design…barriers, planters, other routes, etc)
I recognize cars will exist to get people around for many decades to come, and in huge, huge swathes of the word and even america, there will never be sufficient public transport because there is simply too much space to be serviced for too few riders.
I want people to be freed from needing a car in many cases, especially office commuting, urban travel, etc
Sort of like conversations in real life.
