Mine is when I go to bed at night, but before I fall asleep. That time is so calm and quiet without any expectation of me doing anything other than relaxing. It’s been my favorite part of the day for like 10 years now.
For me it’s probably night. Like after 9:30pm. For some reason it kind of feels free to me. As I rarely leave the house I don’t get to enjoy it outside, but night outside (when it’s not hot) always feels special to me.
Came here to say this. The times in which it is basically not socially acceptable to bother others (e.g. people leave you alone unless there is an emergency) are the most comforting times. Late night, early morning = peace.
Maybe that’s part of it for me, I definitely don’t have to deal with others at night unless I choose to. The outside part, at night, has this whimsy element to it for me. What I mean is things are quieter, shadows make the world feel more unexplored or different, and of course way fewer people.
The time between all my daily responsibilities ending and needing to go to bed.
1am-5am, when my auDHD ass can finally focus because the world around me is super peaceful and finally free of distraction.
yessss!
Like 7-10am? My partner and the dog are still asleep, I have some coffee and breakfast by myself, read, workout, and get my day started. i really wish i had become a morning person sooner
I love how everyone’s responses to this question is about them being alone lol. Not one person has responded that their favorite part of the day is when they’re with someone else.
It doesn’t matter the time of day specifically, but it’s whenever I’ve been awake for about 4 or 5 hours. Then I get all of the energy to do things for another 4 or 5 hours before I once again feel like a slug person.
I do like the early morning hours when it’s like the whole world is asleep except for me, tho. When it coincides with my random-ass sleep schedule to where that time is in my 4-5 hour window of energy, it’s the best time.

omg that happens to me too! 😮 i thought i was the only one
That’s just being a regular human
So my feelings are correct? Morning people really aren’t human? 😮
Yes
My favourite part of the day is around 5pm-9pm when i can calm down after a long day.
I don’t think I have strong preferences for any specific part.

Morning between 8 and 9am. My husband goes to work in his office, I’ve got the living room to myself, take my ADHD meds and snuggle up on the couch, listening to Sherlock Holmes for an hour until the meds fully kick in.
If you don’t mind sharing, what ADHD meds are you on? I do the same thing with strattera/atomoxetine. I wake up around 7a-8a, take it immediately, then go lay on the couch until it kicks in and I can start my day. I’ve noticed that my peak focus and performance time is from 1p-6p. Whatever I’m doing at 1p is what I’m going to focus on for the rest of the day, so I tailor my schedule to be involved in a priority at that time.
I don’t mind at all. I’m on Methylphenidate 30mg XR at 8am (Medikinet adult in my country) and take a 10mg booster of the same med around 2pm. Usually that helps me focus until around 6-7pm and then that’s it for the day.

Getting home from work, whenever that is.
“Feierabend” a german word that doesn’t translate well into english basically it means the time of day when everything you have to do that day is done and you do just what you want to do. Most people just take it to mean the end of working hours. But I don’t consider it “feierabend” until household chores are also done. By the way the literal translation of “feierabend” would be “celebration evening”.
I love it! Everything I hear about Germany is that it sounds like the best culture for autistic people. Anyone here in or from Germany that can comment on this?
