    Lol what grandstanding is this. They said no, then weeks later said okay yes, with this one change coming out months later which Microsoft doesn’t even care about.

    It’s clear from the last 30 years of civil servants being overruled by decision makers on issues around Microsoft that the UK is essentially just going to do what certain big companies tell it to do. Back in the 2000s there was a big push from inside the UKs agencies to de Microsoft themselves, that didn’t last long before word came down to remicrosoft themselves.

    Is UK prepared to block Microsoft from operating in the UK? Because if they’re not then they can still be bullied. I hope something comes of this.

      they should get the TV license enforcers on Microsoft’s butt, those guys are the certified bullies of the UK
