The stuff I find on YouTube tends to be a bit old, or more on the pop side. Are there Italian bands that really rock hard?

I asked a friend from Italy, he said the other answer covered the classics, but also recommended Lord Elephant.

Cool music, but I’m looking for Italian language music. I’m trying to learn Italian and I’m trying to immerse myself in Italian language songs that keep me motivated to learn. I guess I should have explained all that in the post. Apologies. Will definitely give Lord Elephant a longer listen!

Ah yeah, right. Both of us speak ESL, so probably neither of us picked on “in Italian” as “with lyrics in Italian”. Now that you said it, it makes sense, and that’s also how we’d phrase it in our respective languages, but I know I didn’t notice it until your answer… Well, I’ll ask again. 😅

Edit: here is the list I got: CCCP, CSI, Afterhours, Litfiba. It’s apparently pretty rare for Italian metal/rock bands to sing in Italian. Which is understandable, given how soft the language sounds.
