In a Truth Social post Thursday evening, Trump canceled Monday’s event and said the report would not be released that day, either.

“Rather than releasing the Report on the Rigged & Stolen Georgia 2020 Presidential Election on Monday, my lawyers would prefer putting this, I believe, Irrefutable & Overwhelming evidence of Election Fraud & Irregularities in formal Legal Filings,” he wrote in the post. “Therefore, the News Conference is no longer necessary!”

ABC News reported Thursday morning that Trump’s legal advisers were actively urging him to call off the event, arguing that continued claims of election fraud could further complicate his legal problems in the Georgia case. NBC News has not confirmed the report.

Don’t worry, his idiot base will chalk it up to the deepstate lawyers not wanting the truth to get out, or some asinine smooth brain logic that.

It’s remarkable that he is the guy we should trust to fight back against the deep state when all of his close aids and confidants including his actual attorneys keep being found to be part of the deep state. Clearly he doesn’t have a great nose for sniffing them out.

I was so hoping for him digging himself deeper in the shit - or making himself the laughing stock (again).

Well, the popcorn has to wait. The DA will definitely ask him a lot of questions about this, and while the “best” Trump can do is pleading the fifth on each and every question including the one for his name, his ego will make him blab, and therefor lie.

All this supposed evidence and never posts a single shred of it and loses what? 60 cases in court over it?

You know, I’m starting to doubt he ever even had any irrefutable evidence that would prove his innocence that literally every one else seems to have missed!

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Former President Donald Trump said Thursday he will no longer hold an event to present what he called an “irrefutable report” about the 2020 election in Georgia.

Trump announced the planned “major news conference” Tuesday morning, the day after he and 18 other defendants were indicted in the election interference case in Georgia.

“A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.

In a Truth Social post Thursday evening, Trump canceled Monday’s event and said the report would not be released that day, either.

ABC News reported Thursday morning that Trump’s legal advisers were actively urging him to call off the event, arguing that continued claims of election fraud could further complicate his legal problems in the Georgia case.

Contacted about the ABC report earlier Thursday, two Trump allies expressed relief at the prospect of the event’s cancellation.
