Are the z and y swapped on purpose?
Interesting. I’ma have to keep hanging out with y’all keyboard guys. I’m learning all kinds of stuff.
Qwertzu for german language countries, Azerty for French speaking countries and I’m sure there are many more.
Oh, cool. Thanks for the info :-)
It’s german qwertz.
I hadn’t heard of that layout before. You learn something new every day.
Very cool board.
Yeah wth? 😠
I dunno if you saw the other replies, but it turns out QWERTZU is a German keyboard layout. The more ya know.
What do you use for äöü߀ though? I’ve personally come to prefer ANSI layout with EurKey and going back to QWERTZ / ISO-DE feels off now.
Left space is my fn, where qwertz becomes the numrow. So ß is on it’s regular spot, but on the fn layer. Umlaute are longpress on the vowels. The novelty helps me with finding the 5. €, @ and all other “Alt Gr” keys are still on right Alt as usually.
majestic
beautiful.
I built it in the german layout i’m used to because i went all in on Art Nouveau (hope i spelled that right). Including the novelty, this is base- and 4 childkits 🫥
