KDE is now running at 1fps after the most recent update, it was really stable before I updated a few days ago. I don’t really know how I should troubleshoot this.

I updated before going to bed the day before, yesterday I noticed periodic freezes (with around 1-2min intervals) that resolved on alt-tab, I ran another -Syu then and it went back to buttery smooth (this was around 14h ago).
