Party gate alone would not have caused the government to fall. It’s the rapidly deteriorating economic situation that’s driving the growing unrest. The support for Ukraine in UK does not translate into the economic cost people are now paying. In fact, if you look at UK media it’s been very careful to avoid connecting the sanctions with the economic blow back that people are experiencing.
