    I’m lucky enough to live in a big city with good bike infrastructure, pedestrian paths and public transport, so I don’t have to use my car that much. I also eat pretty cheap, buy most of my clothes second hand for cheap and beers at a bar can be cheap as well. Got lucky with my new energy bill as well as my gf and I use just a tiny bit of energy. I notice the inflation a bit, but not the 9-10% mentioned here.

    I see people on the daily that do, though. The middle class is being wiped out already and it will get worse.

      I consider myself very lucky because I can walk to work every day (around 2km one way). Or aat least I used to walk before the pandemic. These days it’s just workin from the couch.
