      Huh well I’ll be. I’m not going to pretend I understand any of that.

      But I’m also going to go out on a limb say I doubt anyone here is speaking in terms of quantum mechanics.

        Many worlds interpretation is the real-world root of the type of multiverses being talked about here.

        Crudely put QM says pretty much everything that happens on very small scales is determined by probability. The Copenhagen interpretation says all possibilities collapse into the one that actually happens. (Wavefubction collapse).

        Many worlds says that every possibility happens in some universe or another. But it’s not talking about human choice. For random hydrogen atom #52737373 it’s more ‘universes exists for every possible position of its electron.’
