Electronic warfare is something entirely different. Electronic warfare doesn’t necessarily involve computers, it’s even a fair bit older than programmable electronic digital computers. Electronic warfare revolves around electronic communications and sensor systems and electronic countermeasures against them. Someone jamming their enemies’ radio is an example of electronic warfare.

What’s happening here is classic psychological warfare. Just because someone is using computers for it, doesn’t make it electronic warfare.
