    Wow, they are so lonely that they go to jail? Considering that Japan youth and workers love suicide, I wonder what that says of that fall of culture.

      *Fall of working class’ material conditions. These things are caused by grinding neoliberalism, much like in the West. The problem is capitalism and lack of social safety net, not “culture.”

      The premise of this article is preposterous and insults our intelligence. If they were simply lonely, they could get roommates, move to retirement communities or nursing homes, join book clubs, or any number of things.
