Its still pretty common for people to give starbucks giftcards, I stfg everytime I go to Starbucks its because people send me gift cards for it. I dont like Starbucks.

You’re probably being facetious but as pointed out down below, it’s because white liberals aren’t going to give up their treats while everybody else who can’t afford $8 coffee milkshakes was eating at McDonald’s.
Among the things I’ve read was that apparently Starbucks lost so many customers in Kuwait they shut (all?) their branches there, so there’s that for what it’s worth.
Starbucks was never an official BDS target, so not as many people boycotted it.
