      From what I know in Canada the problem is mostly foreign companies buying everything up and then renting it with enourmous prices and as they own everything they have have monopoly on the prices.

        This is mostly in USA that foreign companies buy houses, maybe some in Vancouver or Toronto, but not in Montréal where it’s people fighting to buy houses

    Same in Germany. Starting to become a painful competition for refugees, asylum seekers, and low wage Germans. Not as bad as in Netherlands though.
