Luckily the show turned so unbelievably bad nobody references it anymore lol. The books are far too long and unfinished for the unwashed masses of shitlibs. They also imo have an underlying materialist outlook (intentional or not) and critique of the feudal system and the human conflicts attempt to not fall back on easy good-bad dichotomies, so those should be too repulsive for the libs to coopt.
