For Firefox mobile, it was the Fennec engine where you could easily install any extension… It became a pain with the Fenix engine… I hate this addon collection thingy, it’s a pain to setup
Beta and Nightly still allow that. Actually it’s a shame it still is not possible in any way to install any Add-on you want on the “regular” Firefox.
